The members of the Magnolia Garden Club have donated $5,500 to Signature Squares to assist with the research, design and installation of 8 new signs for the historic squares. This photo was taken in Hillary Square, the first of the eight remaining squares waiting for interpretive signs. The Magnolia Garden Club members have been faithful supporters and volunteers assisting with the mission and projects of Signature Squares over several years. They have completed many different beautification projects within Brunswick’s Historic District and the city. They coordinate the Brunswick Tour of Historic Homes the first Saturday of December as their primary fundraising event.

Notable restorations include the use of marble from the former Oglethorpe Hotel and the original fountain base from the 1885 Hanover Square.
